What a Himachal tour costs — and why prices vary
A Himachal tour's price depends on four things: season, hotel category, group size and transport. On Leisure Himachal's own tariffs, a 3-night Manali Volvo trip from Delhi starts from ₹11,999 per person off-season in a Standard hotel; a 6-night Shimla–Manali car tour falls from ₹13,777 per person for two to ₹8,999 each for ten; and a 9-night Leh jeep safari is ₹35,555 per person for two or ₹24,999 for four.
Every figure on this page comes from Leisure Himachal’s own published tariff tables. Prices are being confirmed for 2026–27; ask on WhatsApp for today’s quote.
1. Season
Our Volvo packages charge season rates from 15 April to 15 July and 20 December to 5 January; car tours from 15 April to 15 July. The difference is large:

2. Hotel category
Each tour is quoted in Standard, Deluxe, Luxury and Premium hotels. Between Standard and Premium, the Manali Volvo tour rises by about half off-season; the Himachal Darshan nearly doubles.
3. Group size
On the car tours, the car and driver are shared, so the per-person price falls as more of you travel:

The same is true in Ladakh: the Manali–Leh jeep safari is ₹35,555 per person for two and ₹24,999 for four.
4. Transport
The overnight Volvo is the cheapest way into the hills and saves a hotel night each way. A private car costs more for two but less per head for a family or group, and gives you freedom on the road. A jeep (Tavera or Qualis class) is what the high roads to Leh need.

How much does a Himachal tour package cost?
On our tariffs, short Volvo trips to Manali start from about ₹11,999 per person, 6–9 night car tours from about ₹13,777–18,777 per person for two (less for bigger groups), and Ladakh jeep safaris from about ₹24,999–35,555 per person. Season dates and better hotels cost more.
Why is the price per person lower for bigger groups?
On car tours the car and driver cost the same whether two or six people travel, so the cost per person falls as the group grows.
When is Himachal cheapest?
Outside 15 April–15 July and 20 December–5 January. Off-season rates on our Manali Volvo tour are roughly a quarter lower than season rates.
What is not included in the price?
Usually airfare and trains, government taxes, entry and camera fees, insurance, and activities like skiing, paragliding or rafting. Check each package's list.
