state economy and growth. While Kullu, the capital town of the Kullu District,
is located on the banks of Beas River in the Kullu Valley, Manali is a hill

Chinese pilgrim monk Xuanzang visited the valley in 634 or 635 century. He

natural fibers such as pashmina, sheep-wool, angora etc.
